It’s a long-established fact that great leaders and managers are confident communicators and able to inspire, motivate, and influence others through their words and actions. This workshop will feature movie clips from popular movies to highlight leadership techniques and models. Each technique will be explained with real life business examples and then applied to your situation. How to lead individuals, teams, groups, and face to face and virtually is included. The advantages and disadvantages of each approach will be discussed. The underlying assumption is that good communication and trust is the building block for inspiration, motivation and inspiring others. Insights into leading virtually will be shared. In conclusion, after reviewing multiple movie clips, methods and tips, a framework will be provided and participants will have some fun practicing the techniques they learned. The list of references and research used from this session on will be provided. Come with an open mind and willing to try something new. You will leave with an action plan and plenty of ideas on how to revitalize your leadership style.
