OSPMI Monthly Chapter Meeting
Join us for our January Chapter Meeting, Influence Without Authority by Shawn O’Connell, PMP, PMI-ACP, CSP-SM, PSM2, PSK.
Everyone wants to be more influential at work. In today's onsite/virtual world, influence is the only way to manage, lead and get things done. To be able to influence without authority in a more agile world, you must recognize that everyone's responsibility always exceeds their authority. The skillful use of influence will clearly demonstrate the subtle art of getting things done. Reciprocity, Building Effective Relationships and Becoming a Partner with Your Boss are all areas we can improve upon. Influencing Without Authority is the name of the game in this age of collegial organizations, joint ventures, partnerships, and alliances. Please join us for this interesting topic that will always have you thinking about the influencing models you will be using throughout your career.
