Sainath Nagarajan is a principal at Obvious Ideas, a boutique business consulting and communications agency. He has over 12 years of cross functional global experience in financial audit, management consulting, corporate IT and technology services environments from start-ups to large corporations. He graduated with distinction from Carnegie Mellon University with a Masters degree in Information Systems Management and is currently attending the Kellogg School of Management Executive MBA program. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Sainath is the co-author of the NSR Management Mediation Grid, which was created while he was enrolled at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School. This was published by the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution, New York, in 2007. The authors propose that the it is time to bring mediation inside the corporation, and offer a grid for interactions between different constituencies as a guideline for effective communication and conflict management.
