The First Iron Bridge, First Railway, and the Transcontinental Railway are three
significant transformational projects from the Industrial Revolution. When we look at
these we tend to see them as great engineering works. Project management tends
to be overlooked, and yet the core principles of project management were used
extensively in these projects.


This presentation takes a hard look at the history of projects from the Industrial
