Karen Regine, MSPM, PMP

Karen has over 27 years of experience in systems development and integration for large corporations, including a total of 18 years with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) and International Business Machines (IBM). She has managed large, complex projects both domestically and internationally for EDS, IBM and GTECH. Karen has held positions in many capacities throughout her career including Sr. Project Manager, Director of Integration and Client Services, Education Alliance Manager, CRM Consulting Manager, Training Program Manager, Systems Engineer Instructor, Systems Engineer Manager and Systems Engineer.

Karen has been with GTECH for 6 years and currently holds the position of Project Manager Principal. During this time Karen has demonstrated her proficiency and experience in planning, executing, monitoring and controlling large, complex lottery system projects. Karen completed her degree of Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Project Management in 2009 and was PMP certified in 2007. Karen has been recognized several times throughout her tenure at GTECH with Building Excellence Awards for her exemplary project management skills during project deliveries.

Karen’s most recent projects include a Greenfield Online Lottery Implementation in Madagascar and Mauritius, a System Conversion in South Australia, an Interactive Implementation in New Zealand, and a Hardware Conversion in Trinidad.

Michael Cusack

Mike has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Throughout his career he has held senior project management, project training, and technical support positions with companies such as AXA Insurance, Computacenter, Cap Gemini, and Price Waterhouse Coopers.

Mike has been with GTECH for 4 years and currently holds the position of Principle Project Manager. During this time Mike has gained significant experience in planning, executing, monitoring and controlling large, complex lottery system projects. Mike’s project experience with GTECH includes deployment of a major software release (instant processing system) for the Thuringen Lottery, a major ES upgrade including new functionality for the Saxony Lottery, and supporting the 3rd license Services activities for Camelot in the UK. Mike has also managed significant pre-sales activities for Belgium Lottery, WestLotto, Saxony, OPAP in Greece, SporToto in Turkey and Camelot in the UK.

Mike has participated in numerous process improvement initiatives in his 4 years with GTECH, creatively seeking ways in which to improve project-related procedures to provide tangible benefits for both GTECH and its customers. To this effect he received a silver award in recognition of his contributions.

Mike is trained in two project management methodologies, Pride and Prince II. Currently gaining experience in the Project Management Professional (PMP) methodology of the Project Management Institute while at GTECH.
